Fire Drills Review:
Artists like Mike Skinner of the Streets are always interesting to watch how they progress in their career because usually the energy and raw material they use for their debut is what they really are all about. Everything Is Borrowed is the fourth release from The Streets and as an artist Skinner has come full circle going from material covering his life on Original Pirate Material [2002] to complaining about fame on The Hardest Way To Make An Easy Living [2006], which lets face it I am sure would be a burden to everyone. Everything Is Borrowed does a nice job of rectifying the later with a new batch of tracks that seem well thought out, sincere and relevant!
