Fire Drills Review:
It is always nice to hear when a band's debut lives up to the strength of their earlier singles. High Places self-titled record does just that and equals the quality of their first compilation of earlier recordings released in July called 03/07 -09/07 [2008]. The duo of Mary Pearson and Robert Barber mix in elements of electronic, world and indie pop to create an enchanting sound which flows seamlessly from track to track making High Places a solid debut and a promising beginning to what should be an intriguing musical career.
