Vertigo Smyth's influences cover a wide range that include The Muppet Show, Tom Waits, Elliott Smith, Randy Newman, Jeff Buckley and Beck to just name a few. His debut EP Future Happiness shows his love for the singer/songwriter with his slightly folk twinged numbers that are quietly entrancing. The catchy opener "Comfort Me" has the strumming of a ukulele with some well placed handclaps but his voice is really the instrument which easily carries this four song EP to the next level of entertainment.
