The Bicycles: Oh No, It's Love

The Bicycles
Oh No, It's Love
Fuzzy Logic Recordings [2008]

Fire Drills Review:

You never knew that the sun shined so bright up north in Canada but after taking The Bicycles bubblegum pop record Oh No, It's Love for one spin you might change your opinion. What helps drive their 60's inspired sound is that all four members take part in the vocals and pump out clean, catchy and memorable harmonies. What also keeps your interest and attention is that the record has a whopping 19 tracks that clock in at 37 minutes that shows The Bicycles have perfected the art of packing a punch in short concise tracks. The upside of this is that Oh No, It's Love offers multiple arrangements and styles while keeping a current pop oriented theme that ultimately helps the record be successful, enjoyable and infectious!

Key Track: "Won't She Be Surprised"
