Fire Drill Review:
Lead singer Shane Lawler came all the way from Nottingham, England, to Austin, TX to get Electric Touch together and their sound is anything but Texan. The band turns up the amps on their self-titled debut and hits full throttle as they give a superb lesson in the long lost scene of glam-rock. The record was produced by Frenchie Smith (Built to Spill, The Dandy Warhols, Meat Puppets) with additional producing and mixing by Gavin Mackillop (Goo Goo Dolls, Sugarcult, The La’s), so it has all the right pieces that fit together for an entertaining ride.
