Sundayrunners: Tame Animals

Tame Animals
Machine-Inc. [2008]

Fire Drills Review:

This is the sophomore album from Chicago's power pop band Sundayrunners. This record follows their critically acclaimed 2005 self-titled debut and completely holds up to expectations. Tame Animals is a perfect 10 songs in just under 40 minutes and full of catchy and well penned harmonic tunes. They even through in a cover of Big Star's "The Ballad Of El Goodo" to close the album, which is not only well done but it tells you exactly who they are!

Key Track: "Heads Back In The Air"

Band With Similar Fire: Big Star
