American Werewolf Academy: Triceratops

American Werewolf Academy
Triceratops
Self-Released [2008]

Fire Drills Review:
These boys from Dallas play nothing but amped up and fuzzed out power pop rock n' roll! With influences that cover an array of genres, The Who, Cheap Trick, Times New Viking, R.E.M. and the great Robert Pollard, AWA do their idols proud on their third release Triceratops. At just 29 minutes long, AWA cover a lot of ground in their eleven tracks without wasting one bit of time to supply the listener with an entertaining and energetic fueled dose of catchy rock, handclaps, and sing-a-long lyrics that get better with each spin.

Key Track: "Wild Bird"

Band With Similar Fire: Archers Of Loaf
