Fire Drills Review:
Department Of Eagles has too long of a background story for this page but basically you should know that it is lead by Daniel Rossen from Grizzy Bear and his old college roommate. It is four years in the making and is a completely musically and harmonic sprawling indie record that has a collage of guitars piano, banjo and horns, that grows on you after just one listen. What drives its substance is that the songs relate to Rossen's late father who passed away in 2007 but does not necessarily dwell on his death as they do the good times the two spent together in life. In Ear Park is that album this year which will land on several critics "best of" list and it will completely deserve it!
