From The Mountain To The Sea is the second full-length release by San Francisco indie rockers Birdmonster . The bands debut was a more straight ahead rock album but this record finds the band hooking up with producer Tom Schick (Ryan Adams, Norah Jones, Rufus Wainwright), which provided a balance and guided the band into a more overall underlining Americana sound. Now don't get the wrong impression because From The Mountain To The Sea still has a big sound but this small refinement in pace lets the songwriting shine through and really holds it all together for a great listen!
