The Iguanas: If You Should Ever Fall On Hard Times

The Iguanas
If You Should Ever Fall On Hard Times
Yep Roc Records [2008]

Fire Drills Review:
New Orleans' eclectic sons the Iguanas are back with their post-Katrina ode to love, loss and the city they call home. If You Should Ever Fall On Hard Times, is the groups first album in five years and it is a celebration combination of Latin music, Caribbean rhythms, Tex-Mex and R&B swagger that is very consistent all the way through. The band struggled to complete this record due their displacement but it only takes one listen to discover that they did New Orleans proud!

Key Track: "Malas Vibras"
