Liverpool's Sand Band are an exciting new group that has a modern day Simon & Garfunkel vibe. The Sand Band is primarily David McDonell's voice and guitar and you may be familiar with the name as his is the guitarist for Ricahd Ashcroft's solo projects. The Secret Chord [EP] is drenched in simple guitar and melody that draws you in and keeps you there for the solid 30 minute record. It is a great build up for a debut record.
