Fire Drills Review:
UK dance-rock act Friendly Fires self-titled debut record is full of synth pop heavy beats and big hooks that combines the best elements of the genre for an entertaining record. The rest of the album has some punk and funk grooves like a Franz Ferdinand while combined with the keyboard aspects of Hot Chip. The Friendly Fires don't necessarily bring anything new to the scene but their debut is a good listen and ultimately will keep you jumping in your seat and coming back for more.
